CQC’s response to Panorama’s undercover investigation inside a hospital for vulnerable people

A recent edition of BBC’s Panorama captured evidence of shocking abuse taking place at a service for people with a learning disability and/or autism.

In response, Dr Paul Lelliott, Deputy Chief Inspector of Hospitals (lead for mental health), said:

“As soon as the BBC told us that they had evidence of abuse we alerted the police and they are now investigating.
