National Learning & Development Forum 2015.
After last year’s celebrations in Oxford to mark ten years of annual conferences NASHiCS chose another historic city,
Stratford-upon-Avon, to stage the eleventh event. This year the theme was
“Integration Matters – Working as One”.
The event was again well attended and delegates were presented with a wide range of speakers and inter-active sessions starting with a lively gathering on the Wednesday afternoon which examined strategies for dealing with the difficult subject of occupational violence.
The main event on Thursday saw a range of subjects covered ranging from Telecare through to fire safety, whistle blowing and mental health.
Delegates were fortunate in having a session where the HSE and CQC appeared on the stage together in the spirit of working together.
The last session introduced the concept of Primary Authority Schemes which NASHiCS itself is now a participant.
More about the scheme will be issued later in the year
