The Judges stated that this was a good application that demonstrated compliance & results on all levels of the judging criteria, particular strengths in demonstrating what has been implemented & also good testing of the systems through auditing & inspection both internally & externally. A great application with very good results.

Tony is the Health & Safety Advisor & has developed a “Managing Safety in the Social Care Sector” training course which has been approved & licensed by IOSH and is the only approved social care sector IOSH training course in the UK

The judges specifically commented on how the application demonstrated that following a review, managers were in need of more general health & safety training & that IOSH Managing Safely would be appropriate this exampled exampled some good indicators as to how he incorporated HSG220 into the training in order to cover the correct areas.

She has established quarterly group risk forum for senior executives & operational managers to ensure that high level risk matters are discussed & dealt with promptly & in line with requirements under relevant legislation.

The judges agreed that she demonstrated single handed the increase in the profile of health & safety across the whole organisation an encouraged accountability & responsibility at the correct levels.
